Today the South Amboy First Aid Squad & Sayreville Emergency Squad joined forces to attend the 3rd Annual Riley’s Touch A Truck! We love giving back to the community but when we’re lacking volunteers it gets hard, that’s when teamwork takes a huge role.

White Castle outreach event
Members were invited to a nearby White Castle to make burgers for National Hamburger Month! We will always jump at opportunities to bridge the gap between our service and the community!
5-21-2018 Drunk Driving Simulation
Members of the South Amboy First Aid, South Amboy Fire Department, South Amboy Police Department, Raritan Bay Medical Center Paramedics went through a real life simulation of a drunk driving incident for South Amboy High School Students. Students got to see the aftermath of what driving under the influence can lead to. The actors for this simulation were actual students of the school.

Crew Nights
Our night crews will often schedule to make dinner and watch movies together while we are on duty. We enjoy getting together as it builds friendships, trust, as well as laughter and fun to volunteering.
